The Guardian - By Carlo Gavazzi

Carlo Gavazzi is proud to launch the GUARDIAN -the world’s first stand-alone vision-based overhead sensor for pedestrian sliding doors. It utilizes a CMOS camera, allowing it to detect both motion and presence, unlike traditional radar or photoelectric sensors. Additionally, the CMOS based camera offers high resolution and a 1/4" wide angle lens, providing the greatest sensing zone flexibility.

Simple to setup with teach-in process
Easy adjustment of motion zone, with
   blanking adjustments from left, right,
   and front
Adapts to environmental conditions such
  as rain, snow, leafs and sunlight
No crosstalk between sensors mounted
   in close proximity to each other
Both uni-directional and bi-directional
   modes
Can ignore people walking past the door
   when in uni-directional mode
Up to 3m (9.8 ft) mounting height
Time delay setting selectable in 10, 30,
   60 or 300 seconds
Test input function for safety check
Connection plug (mating cable included)
   for direct interface with door controller
2 x SPST relay outputs
The GUARDIAN replaces the combination of traditional door radar sensors and photoelectric sensors, with one simple yet advanced unit. With UL 325, cURus, CE, and TUV approvals, you are assured that the GUARDIAN is a high quality and safe device, which will set the standard for door sensors.
